If you are in difficulty, financial or otherwise, please seek advice and assistance without delay. A number of potential sources of funding exist. Check out www.studentfinance.ie for information on grants and a variety of student supports.
Student Assistance Fund:
This Fund provides discretionary support to students who face financial difficulties. It is generally used to provide short-term, emergency support in particular areas such as class materials, childcare and transport costs. This fund is unable to deal with long-term problems such as accommodation costs or fees. A simple confidential application form must be completed when requesting financial assistance. Forms are available from the Students’ Union Office, Student Union website, Institute notice boards and Access Office.
Childcare Fund: grants may be available through the student Union’s office. Please check their website www.iadtsu.ie for deadline and application forms.
